One of our primary goals at Pig ‘N’ Whistle is to be your spot for cannabis concentrates in Denver. We regularly have somewhere between 80 and 100 types of concentrates in stock at any given time, but the quantity of our options isn’t what makes us so proud. We take pride in the quality of our products, and we believe our dispensary menu is full of the best cannabis concentrates in Denver. As much as we appreciate the cannabis plant in its natural form, we’re especially stricken by the refined qualities of extracts and concentrates.
What Are Cannabis Concentrates?
Cannabis concentrates are refined products offering high levels of the most desirable components of the cannabis plant. Most of our extractions deliver high amounts of THC, but some of our customers also like to purchase concentrates with lots of CBD. Beyond the cannabinoids, many of these products also include lots of terpenes, making for a larger than life flavor. With so many different types of concentrates, it will be easy for our budtenders to help you find something that appeals to you.
How Are Cannabis Concentrates Made?
There are a few different ways to make cannabis concentrates, and the process used will have a significant impact on the quality of the finished product. At the most basic level, there are two main types of concentrates:
- Solventless Concentrates – These are old school concentrates like water hash, which is made without solvents.
- Solvent Based Concentrates – Most of the best extractions are either butane hash oils (BHOs) or propane hash oils (PHOs). This is how we get modern concentrates like the popular types below.
